According to a report on the club’s website, Rodrigo Corrales’ coronavirus test on Monday and then Tuesday also came back positive, for which the player was quarantined. The two-time Eb winner Spanish goalkeeper was asymptomatic and had no symptoms since testing.
According to the announcement, after consulting with the local ANTSZ, the players and staff who produced a negative result were also quarantined from Monday night, with another test awaiting them in the second half of the week.
The Veszprém – Barça Champions League match, announced for October 21, has been postponed before, as more players than the Catalan team have been infected.
The Veszprém people were to face Komló in the Hungarian league on Thursday, but after the events they asked MKSZ to postpone the match.
