Alfréd Pócs is the regional president of the Medical Chamber, from whom the organization has already distanced itself.

Bugát de Gyöngyös was discharged from Hospital Pál Dr. Alfred Pócs, the president of the Heves County Medical Chamber, from whom the Hungarian Medical Chamber parted ways in September due to allegations of denial of the coronavirus, learned of 24 hu.

Although the hospital has not yet answered our questions, the fact of the dismissal was confirmed to our newspaper by an orthopedic specialist. Alfréd Pócs said the hospital director called him on October 6 and fired him after 25 years on the grounds that he was anti-Covid. He is currently on a one-month notice period, but still works in the Salgótarján and Ózd hospitals.

Alfréd Pócs, in addition to being the Heves county chairman of the medical chamber, last year also ran for mayor of the county seat of the Eger City Defenders Association, earning more than 5 percent , and was included in the general assembly of the compensation list. He has repeatedly expressed his viral skepticism as one of the leaders of the Association of Physicians for Clairvoyance, arguing against the use of masks, for example, in a video uploaded to YouTube two weeks ago. His association also organized an anti-5G demonstration in Eger this summer, claiming that 5G mobile towers could have “amazing physiological effects.”

When asked about the news of his dismissal, Pócs said that he does not deny the virus, but does see uninfected patients at a disadvantage in care due to the coronavirus.

In a September statement, the Hungarian Medical Chamber named Alfréd Pócs as an orthopedic surgeon, activist against the 5G warrior and one of the leaders of the Doctors Association for a Clear Vision. The chamber justified the demarcation with the doctor’s statements about the coronavirus epidemic, saying they were largely unscientific, misleading and false. As it was written, with the statements of the president of the Heves county organization, the interest group “endangered the lives of the elderly and those who work in epidemiological control, and undermined the credit of the MOK”, therefore that the presidency makes an ethical pronouncement against him.

In the same communication, the Chamber disassociated itself from the György Gődény Based on the conspiracy theories announced by a pharmacist, Pócs appeared with him several times at conferences of skeptics about viruses.

The orthopedic doctor, who was one of the defenders of Eger Hospital protesting against privatization, was fired from Eger Markhot Ferenc Hospital more than four years ago, but the MOK supported him at the time, saying that the termination of his contract was illegal. and that the chamber retaliated for him. . The organization denounced a suspicion of dishonest treatment, fraud and falsification in the case of the HUF 57 million hospital admission system, and Pócs repeatedly criticized the operation and equipment of the hospital.

More than ten years ago, he also complained to the Gyöngyös Hospital before the Equal Treatment Authority because his contract with the institution had not been extended, according to him, because he had spoken out against the operation of the Eger hospital by the company private HospInvest Zrt. In this case, the court gave the truth to the doctor.

In last year’s mayoral candidate campaign, Pócs called for, among other things, the establishment of an alternative medical center in Eger, where people could use various types of treatment, such as acupuncture, Chinese medicine or psychiatric medicine. .
