The Hungarian soccer team is nine places ahead of the National League.
News from the MLSZ community site reminds you that Federal Captain Marco Rossi’s team ranked 32nd at the start of the series in September.
The Hungarians won 1-0 in Turkey in September, then went 3-2 to the Russians in Budapest. In the October jump, they won another 1-0 away against Serbia, followed by a 2-2 draw in Moscow.
The national team is second in Group B, Group Three, after four rounds, one point behind the Russians. In the general classification, the sborna is ranked 20th, the Turkish team is ranked 27th, while the Serbian team is ranked 29th.
In the sequel, the team will host the Serbs at the Puskás Arena on November 15, and three days later they will also close the series at home against the Turks. The winner of the quartet will be placed in Division A, the last classified will be placed in C.
The Hungarians will also have a qualifier for the European Championship against Iceland in Budapest on November 12 before the National League: the winner of the match will advance to the continental tournament postponed next summer, among others at the Puskás Arena.
