A bear was seen by the cameras of the Miskolc Municipal Police on Sunday morning. Shortly after half past one, the animal appeared on Hermandad Street, then on the tram tracks towards the city, then returned to Torontáli Street, then at 12:49 in the direction of Őzugró Street, it disappeared from the field of camera vision, writes the municipality. The police have notified the police and the municipality will contact experts from the Directorate of the Bükk National Park and the playground.

A few days earlier, in Lyukóvölgy, the inhabitants noticed bear tracks in muddy soil soaked by rain, on the Hungarian farm, and on one of the fences they also found tufts of hair from the animal’s fur. The municipality asked the Civil Guard and the Police to draw the attention of the inhabitants of the area to the possible dangers.

Experts from the Bükk National Park Directorate warn that the bear should be avoided, because the mother is more likely to be near the bocs, and most conflicts are related to mother bears. If we walk in a forest, do it along marked trails, avoid dense, dense opaque, if not necessary, do not enter the forest between dusk and dawn, make it clear to the bears that we are approaching, do not walk naked if the bear realize, do not try to Confuse, I do not want to run away either, because it is faster than us, and if you dare to approach, do not provoke or make sudden movements! – they suggest.
