Zsolt Hornyák,
the head coach of the Puskás Academy said the following.

“We played football very nervous from the first minute, the players did not comply with what was agreed, we were late everywhere, we stayed behind the opponent, I saw my passive team. I feel like if we had played until tomorrow, we wouldn’t have scored a goal either. This game is far from what I expect from the team. There is no time to yell at the players, I need to quickly analyze what happened. In the weekly training sessions, I saw that the guys are finally in good shape and we can handle this game well. But we were shy, we lacked confidence and that is reflected in the result. We changed our line-up for the second half, but we also failed to embellish it. We let MTK score too easy, and pretty soon we were 2-0 at home. This match was decided in the first 20-25 minutes when my team was very passive. I don’t understand where the fire went in training! “

Michael Boris, This is what the MTK head coach assessed.

“We played very well in the first half, we defended excellently, we developed many opportunities. We did a lot to play at the Puskás Academy, We watched almost all of their games, we knew they had very fast edges, that’s why we changed the system. During the national break, this order worked very well in the preparation match against Vasas, so we chose it again, and I hope we have surprised our opponent with that. That was the key to our victory. It is a special pleasure that we have not scored, but we have also scored three.

He also covered the next championship against Kisvárda. He said that now I would like to first enjoy the victory against the Puskás Academy, because it was very difficult to go to the rest of the national team with three defeats ahead. In those two weeks, they analyzed many of their previous matches, for example against Budafok, the image of the game was largely determined by the fact that they scored too early. So today it was also important that they score the first hit. By the way, on Friday Kisvárda’s championship was seen against Ferencváros, so they know that a difficult encounter awaits them in the jump.
