Republican Senator Ben Sasse expressed concern this week about Trump’s activities so far: He said the president’s handling of the epidemic, good relations with dictators and his lack of distance from white extremists could cause a bloodbath in the elections to the Senate of November 3.
Congressional elections will be held at the same time as the presidential elections. Democratic victory in the lower house seems certain, but the outcome of the Senate elections remains questionable. And in one of his tweets, he suggests that perhaps a new candidate should be found in his place.
…. Practically nothing. Both senators became totally ineligible, could not even come close to winning their primaries, and decided to leave politics and gracefully “QUIT”. Could it be next, or maybe Republicans should find a new, more viable candidate? @SenSasse
