Republican Senator Ben Sasse expressed concern this week about Trump’s activities so far: He said the president’s handling of the epidemic, good relations with dictators and his lack of distance from white extremists could cause a bloodbath in the elections to the Senate of November 3.

Congressional elections will be held at the same time as the presidential elections. Democratic victory in the lower house seems certain, but the outcome of the Senate elections remains questionable. Polls show there’s a good chance Democrats will win both the House and Senate, and Joe Biden has a better chance right now than Trump.

Trump did not release him, Twitter responded to Sasse’s criticism. In one of his posts, he wrote that Sasse is the least active of the 53 Republican senators, and in another tweet he says that the senator is a real disgrace to Nebraska.

The president was visibly offended as he also posted 4 tweets in a row this afternoon, pleading with Senator Ben Sasse. In one, he calls little Ben Sasse from Great Nebraska.

And in one of his tweets, he suggests that perhaps a new candidate should be found in his place.
