According to Szeged.hu, at least fifteen doctors have left the Institute of Anesthesiology and Intensive Care at the Szeged Clinic in the last three to four months.

A source from the news portal put it this way: Doctors are fleeing the university and there was a doctor who said that so many people left the institute in three to four and a month and a half months. Many physicians are also said to have resigned from obstetric-gynecology, radiology, and psychiatry clinics.

Several of the doctors who spoke anonymously complained about the impossible or very difficult working conditions, which they said are closely related to the insane bureaucracy that characterizes the operation of the university in general and the clinics in particular. It is said that organizing and performing the simplest cases and acquisitions takes months, the operation is not the least efficient.

News of the mass departures reached 24 hours this week, we asked SZTE’s Szent-Györgyi Albert Clinical Center about it, but received no response.
