The new coronavirus infection (Covid-19) was detected in 1,293 new Hungarian citizens, thus increasing the number of infected people identified in Hungary to 43,025. There were 33 chronic patients who died, bringing the death toll to 1,085 and 13,134 have already recovered. The number of actively infected people is 28,806. 32 percent of the actively infected, 42 percent of the dead and 30 percent of those recovered are from Budapest. 1,642 coronavirus patients are hospitalized, 171 of whom are on respirators – write the koronavirus.gov.hu page.

There were 29 elderly chronic patients who had died (there were no such deaths in Hungary in 24 hours), so the number of deaths increased to 1,052 and 12,628 have already recovered.
The second wave of the epidemic is occurring in Hungary. The government aims to keep the country running and not let the virus paralyze everyday life. Therefore, compliance with the general rules is still requested. These are the following.
- In addition to shops and public transport, the use of the mask is mandatory in cinemas, theaters, shopping centers, health and social institutions and customer reception offices.
- After 23:00, restaurants and entertainment venues must be closed.
- To slow the spread of the community, it is still advisable to avoid places where there are many indoors.
- They are asked to maintain social distance if possible.
- Wash your hands frequently and thoroughly.
- Anyone who has received the official home quarantine order for a stay abroad or for any other reason must strictly comply.
- Anyone with symptoms should not go into the community but should stay home and notify their GP by phone.
- The protection of elderly and chronic patients is of the utmost importance. The elderly are also asked to pay more attention to themselves and general precautions.
- Visiting hospitals and nursing homes is prohibited. And nursing home administrators must do everything possible to prevent infection.
- The measurement of body temperature is mandatory in schools and kindergartens to filter out feverish children and educators and thus protect the smooth running of kindergartens and schools.
If a focal point is developed in a social institution or in any other community, the epidemiological deployment unit will take the necessary actions, they emphasize.
By the way, almost 39 million people around the world have been registered with the coronavirus infection.
