Those traveling from Hungary to Romania will not be quarantined for two weeks. The Bucharest government has updated the list of countries with a high epidemic risk classification. The new border crossing rules will take effect on Thursday, October 15 on the news portal Maszol.ro.
Currently, 33 states are on the list of countries at risk of the epidemic; among others the Czech Republic, Belgium, the Netherlands, Spain, France, Great Britain, Slovakia, the United States. Those arriving from here will be quarantined for two weeks in Romania.
They can be released from bribery at the earliest after ten days.
The quarantine obligation does not affect those who arrive in Romania in less than three days and can present a negative coronavirus test carried out 48 hours before crossing the border. The other participants are quarantined for 14 days, but this can be suspended on the 10th day if their test on day 8 is negative.
