However, the authorities noted that this drug can only be used in a certain stage of Covid-19 disease on medical advice.

In the Western Balkans, with the exception of Croatia, the number of confirmed infections and the number of fatalities increased by 1,064 from Sunday to Monday.

The number of registered infections increased from 102 to 34,787 in Serbia, 49 to 16,179 in Kosovo, 383 to 20,957 in North Macedonia, 228 to 13,296 in Montenegro, and 302 in Bosnia and Herzegovina. It rose to 644.

In Serbia, the death toll has risen by one to 763 in the last 24 hours, from two to 647 in Kosovo, from 792 in North Macedonia, from one to 936 in Bosnia-Herzegovina and from four to 202 in Montenegro.
