As expected, Márton Fucsovics is ranked 50th in the latest world ranking of male tennis players published on Monday, writes MTI.

At Roland Garroson, which ended on Sunday, the eighth Hungarian runner-up was back in the top 50, improving by 13 places. The 28-year-old tennis player from Nyíregyháza will be in Cologne this week, his first rival – expected on Tuesday – will be Frenchman Gilles Simon (57th).

There are still two Hungarian tennis players in the top 100, Attila Balázs, who also won a match at the main table in Paris, is currently ranked 84th.

Serbian Novak Djokovic remains at the top of the standings, with Spaniard Rafael Nadal finishing second in Sunday’s final, beating him smoothly and making it 13th at Roland Garros and 20th Grand Slam.
