According to the Ministry of Human Resources, it would not make sense to test teachers because it only shows the current status, it was reported in RTL News.

The announcer asked EMMI what they thought about the teacher tests because the Teachers Union demanded immediate teacher tests on Thursday after 444 discovered that a 39-year-old teacher had also died from the coronavirus.

EMMI also added that “no professionally justified PCR test is omitted, so tests that are not performed in a timely manner, contrary to the rules of the profession, are particularly harmful and pointless.”

But RTL asked virologist Miklós Rusvai, who said that EMMI’s argument for evaluating teachers is not good because basically all medical devices, like a blood pressure monitor, also show the patient their current condition. According to him, the tests could reduce the number of infected people by detecting asymptomatic patients.
