Two earthquakes were also detected in Hungary, reported the CSFK GGI Kövesligethy Radó Seismological Observatory.

According to the report, at 5:55 am on October 10, a minor earthquake occurred near Sajólád in Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén county, at a depth of about 8 kilometers. The magnitude of the earthquake was 2.1 on the Richter scale.

During the afternoon, at 2:37 pm, a 2.3 magnitude earthquake was detected near Nagykáta in Pest County.

The earthquakes were felt by the population.

There is no connection between the two earthworks, both were local, Gyöngyvér Szanyi, the observatory’s seismologist, told MTI’s interest.
