Index – National – According to László Bige, they want to ruin it to get their company

On Thursday, two years from now, police raided the Bige Holding plant in Szolnok for the seventeenth time, again looking for documents that are available anyway, Imre Kubola, the company’s managing director, told the RTL Klub newsletter.

At the reporter’s request, the National Police Headquarters stated that the National Investigations Directorate of the Reserve Police had carried out an “investigation act” in Szolnok for violation of the waste management order and suspicion of other crimes.

Ongoing inspections continue despite a court ruling last year indicating that Disaster Management had illegally closed the Szolnok factory, which provides a livelihood for 250 families. The authority did not give any reason to prohibit the operation of the plant. Police controls have changed in recent years, with thirty police officers appearing instead of 300 to obtain data “available with a single phone call”.

The goal is to have access to this group of companies and if there is a way to do it, free to ruin

– said László Bige, according to whom there is a coordinated campaign against his companies, as he is a competitor of the most influential agricultural entrepreneurs in the country. The report recalled that despite being one of the richest Hungarians, he was also charged with bribery earlier in the year. As he wrote in his declaration to the Index:

They forgot that I am not an employee who can be bribed, but I am the owner who cannot be bribed for my own money.

The case also came to Bloomberg’s attention last year, to which the owner said he thought his dispute with Sándor Csányi could be behind the case.
