The general director of the Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg county hospitals and the teaching university hospital, Gusztáv Adorján, is in need of hospital care due to a coronavirus infection, wrote to Éva Vitkai of Magyar Narancs, referring to the hospital’s press officer.
This is the institution that, according to the decision of the operative tribe, receives all the people infected by moderate and severe covid from the counties of Jász-Nagykun-Szolnok, Hajdú-Bihar and Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg.
According to the press officer, in the case of Gusztáv Adorján the required contact investigation was also carried out, so far no infected people have been found among his direct employees. Until the recovery of the Director General, he will carry out his duties as Medical Director and Deputy Director General of the Teaching Hospital.
According to the newspaper, the 66-year-old CEO at risk is being treated in Budapest due to his most serious condition.
By the way, Gusztáv Adorján is also the leader of the largest faction of the Nyíregyháza General Assembly with the colors of Fidesz-KDNP.
According to the document, the CEO still attended one of the committee meetings before the Sept. 30 general meeting, but no longer appeared at the Oct. 1 general meeting. It can only be assumed, but not certain, that he did not attend the board meeting due to his infectious disease.
