The mall is currently closed, no one is allowed in.

A man crashed from the fourth floor of the Mammut shopping center in Budapest, our colleague at the scene said. Gabriella Szabó, director of operations for the shopping center, confirmed the information to hvg.hu.

The BRFK press officer told hvg.hu that there was no alienation in relation to the case, the investigation will continue accordingly. He also told the press officer that ambulances had stabilized the man in his early 20s and taken him to hospital. The young man had not yet been identified by the authorities because he did not have his papers.

Referring to eyewitnesses, Telex writes that a loud noise could first be heard from the upper floor, the fourth floor, and then when the young man crashed. Some have reported that the man first dropped his backpack and then jumped.

The portal knows that the man was taken from the building at half past two in ambulances.

Hvg.hu was informed that the shopping center had been closed and that customers would no longer be admitted.
