A terrible series of events took place in the second half of both Somogyvár’s league soccer games and the Kaposmérő county roster leader on Sunday. In the already nervous match, which also featured four exhibitions, one of the Hungarian players was replaced in the second half, who got into a little trouble during the withdrawal with a member of the visiting team’s board, who watched the match between the Hungarian fans thanks to their friends in Somogyvár. According to Károly Csete, President of Kaposmérő, the player had already sat on the bench after the mess, when he was again overwhelmed with anger, jumped up and threw his colleague with a bottle of mineral water. The bottle smashed so hard, probably with a plug forward, that it literally knocked out the man’s left eye, which he couldn’t save with quick surgery.
“She is in very bad shape, in severe pain. (…) I have been informed that he will return to his civil work, even though he has lost one of his eyes ”.

Somogy County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a serious bodily injury case against an unknown perpetrator, the punishment will be decided by MLSZ after the investigation is closed, but the perpetrator’s permission to play has already been revoked.
