In the evenings, walkers on the lake were entertained by a 16-year-old magician who nearly died in one of his stunts early last week, the National Rescue Service writes on its Facebook page.
As they say, the guy locked a passerby’s cell phone in a shielded cassette and then pulled out the key in an astonishing way. They would have followed card tricks, but the magician suddenly blushed and fell to her knees in the middle of a choked cough.
Several on the promenade recognized the seriousness of the situation and immediately requested the help of ambulances. Based on telephone instructions from our routine rescue control partner, the drowning young man was hit on the back, which turned out to be a life saver. The key in the boy’s throat moved, but he still had trouble breathing.

Ambulances arrived at the scene in minutes and thankfully they were able to remove the foreign body from the airway, after which the passerby was finally able to retrieve his hostage phone.
The young Houdini was eventually taken to the hospital in stable condition.
