Szoboszlai helped Salzburg with another penalty goal for BL’s participation.

The qualifying rounds for the Champions League ended with three games on Wednesday night. From a Hungarian point of view, the most interesting question on this game day was whether Dominik Szoboszlai’s team, Red Bull Salzburg, would beat Maccabi Tel-Aviv. Succeeded: After a 2-1 away win, where Szoboszlai scored a penalty goal, Salzburg won 3-1 at home. The Hungarian player again scored a penalty goal, this time in the extension of the first half, thus placing the position of the match at 2-1.

Thus, the Hungarian Ferencváros, the Danish Midtjylland, the Austrian Salzburg, the Greek Olympiacos, the Russian Krasnodar and the Ukrainian Dinamo Kiev entered the BL together with the 26 main automatic teams. The draw for the group stage will be held on Thursday afternoon.
