Canadian drinking water brand Berg produces ice from floating ice sheets in Greenland and transports it for bottling. The bottled water is then shipped from Halifax, Canada to Antwerp across the Atlantic, where it is loaded onto trucks and transported to Switzerland via Europe. Switzerland’s Manor store chain, which distributes Greenland glacier water in the Alpine country, has already announced that it has decided this year that it will no longer sell Berg products and other foreign water brands, MTI reported.
