Sony has raised prices, not a bit

After today’s Sony presentation, it has finally been revealed which launch titles we can expect alongside the console, which means that a number of games have been developed that we can power on PS5 consoles from day one.

The list was pretty good in the end, but at the same time, it’s worth taking a look at the prices of the games before we’re really happy.

  • Astro’s Playroom (Sony Japan) – Pre-installed on console
  • Demon’s Souls (Bluepoint Games / Sony Japan) – $ 69.99 / € 79.99
  • Destruction All Stars (Lucid Games) – $ 69.99 / € 79.99
  • Spider-Man: Miles Morales (Insomniac Games) – $ 49.99 / € 59.99
  • Spider-Man: Miles Morales Ultimate Edition (Insomniac Games) – $ 69.99 / € 79.99
  • Sackboy’s Big Adventure (Sumo Digital) – $ 59.99 / € 69.99

Yes, Sony has raised the price of the nextgene, not a little: the increase still seems acceptable in dollars, but the prices in euros still seem quite tough at first glance. However, according to the PS Blog, these will be the official prices in Europe, even here in Hungary. How are you doing with this? Do you think it will be worth killing so much money on PS5 titles?

The digital edition of PS5 and PS5 will be released in Hungary on November 19, 2020 (in the United States on November 12) for HUF 184,990 and HUF 149,990.
