In the Champions League tie against Dinamo Zagreb, he practically repeated his game at Celtic’s home, according to Ferencváros football team head coach Sergei Rebrov.

The Hungarian champion won 2-1 against the Croatian number one team on Wednesday night, ensuring that he will be interested in the head table of one of the European Cup series. Ferencváros will therefore be interested in the BL playoffs, of which the winner of the duel may be BL and the loser may be in the group stage of the Europa League.

At a post-match press conference, the Ukrainian coach said:

The point guard said goodbye to three prominent opponents in the playoffs, and is currently writing a story that should give him the confidence to continue, but one step remains.

Rebrov responded to a question from reporters about fans raging outside the stadium: As he said, he also wouldn’t have thought that the fans there would cheer them on for 90 minutes. He added that coming back to life after the meeting means they are doing a good job – but not just him, but all team members.

The expert emphasized that they would have to deal with themselves in the next round as well, so he did not cover potential opponents.

Guest head coach Zoran Mamic congratulated Ferencváros for the first time and wished the Hungarian champions every success in the playoffs. The specialist remarked that after a quick goal they managed to stand up and take control of the game, but Ferencváros “brutally took advantage” of their opportunities.

The coach remarked that their previous goal was to get into the BL group circle, but now they need to get back to reality and focus their attention on the Europa League.
