Attila Mesterházy did not run with his own list until the beginning of the county presidents meeting, so the board could not decide on the matter. The politician told ATV that no one had asked him if he agreed with the implementation of the closed list and he does not see groups of delegates behind the decisions. He added that the reorganization had become chaotic, so he decided not to provide a list. It will not be an election, it will be just a vote, said the politician.
So officially there are currently two co-presidential candidates, Bertalan Tóth and Ágnes Kunhalmi.
