The students’ parents were notified by email at 11 am on Friday night. The emails were sent by class teachers in the affected departments, the mother of one of the students involved told the newspaper.
According to the letter, the students who had been taught by the infected teacher were quarantined since Saturday morning. The school consulted with the National Center for Public Health and quarantine was ordered from Saturday morning.
Children attending all seven classes cannot go to school on Monday, the school leadership is waiting for instructions and information from the authorities, the newspaper writes. The coronavirus appeared in several schools in Szombathely earlier this week.
