After 916 on Saturday, the new coronavirus infection (COVID-19) was detected in 484 new Hungarian citizens on Sunday, increasing the number of infected people in Hungary to 12,309, according to the government information website.
Four chronic patients died, bringing the death toll to 637, and 4,069 have already recovered. The number of actively infected people is 7,603.
43% of the actively infected, 58% of the dead and 42% of those recovered are from Budapest. There are 282 hospitalized coronavirus patients, 16 of whom are on ventilators.
As they write, as the data on new infections warn, the epidemic is not over, the second wave has reached our country, the number of active infections is rising again, so it is still very important to be disciplined and follow the regulations valid.
To curb social spread, we will continue to avoid places where there are many people inside, preferably maintaining social distance, washing our hands frequently and thoroughly, wearing the mask in stores and on public transport. Anyone who has received the official home quarantine order for a stay abroad or for any other reason must strictly comply. Anyone with symptoms should not go into the community but stay home and notify their GP by phone. If we adhere to all of this, we can prevent the spread of infection and the introduction of new measures that limit our daily lives.
