The coronavirus epidemic continues to spread rapidly around the world, according to data from the US Johns Hopkins University on Sunday morning Hungarian time.
So far, a total of almost 28.76 million people have been infected, which means that their number has increased by almost 430,000 in one day. However, more than 19.4 million people have already overcome the illness caused by the virus, which means that 331,000 have been cured since Saturday. The death toll rose to more than 920,000, with 7,213 killed compared to the previous day.
