Zoltán Gloviczki works in a pedagogical environment rather than the office, writes Népszava.

The head of the Education Office, Zoltán Gloviczki, has left his post, Magyar Hang warned, according to Népszava. The acting leader is currently Sándor Brassói.

The Hungarian Gazette revealed that the Prime Minister had entrusted Zoltán Gloviczki with the functions of rector of the Apor Vilmos Catholic College since 1 September. His mandate is until August 31, 2025. Faced with the newspaper’s interest in being dissatisfied with the current state of education, he replied that he had been dissatisfied with it for a hundred years. He said that we were behind for thirty years, which sadly has not changed, but it is not the problem of current education policy.

He justified his decision by claiming that he preferred to work in a pedagogical environment that would have the opportunity to serve as rector of Apor. He said that he took out the four years he had to endure at the helm of OH in recent years, however, he remained the head of the office for longer. However, he denied that his departure is related to the controversy surrounding the University of Theater and Film Arts.

Until 2012, Zoltán Gloviczki was also Undersecretary of State for Public Education, but at that time he asked to be relieved of his position. Three years ago, he declared to the Hungarian Nation that “as undersecretary of state, he had the special role of having to bridge between politics and reality”, but at that time this bridge did not cross the other shore. “
