916 new infections have been identified and two patients have died in Hungary in the last 24 hours, the government’s information portal reported Saturday morning.
With 916 new infections, the number of infected people in Hungary rose to 11,825, and the two deceased, two elderly and chronic patients suffered 633 deaths, and 4,058 have already recovered. The number of active infected people is 7,134. 42 percent of the actively infected, 59 percent of the dead and 42 percent of those recovered are from Budapest. There are 282 hospitalized coronavirus patients, 15 of whom are on ventilators.
Hungary has become a safe zone of a safe country in two weeks, and the coronavirus is not spreading in any other European country at this rate.
Saturday’s 916 infections mean that the number of newly identified infections has reached a peak in Hungary for two consecutive days. The government information portal reported 718 new cases on Friday morning.
