Paris Saint-Germain started the 2020-2021 French Football Championship (Ligue 1) season with a loss: the defending Parisians were eliminated at rookie Lens 1-0 on Thursday night.

They have been eliminated more or less two days of the French league, but the Parisians were interested in the eighth final of the Champions League, for which they have been relieved, until now.
Thomas Tuchel, the PSG head coach who finished the losing BL final, couldn’t wait for seven players – including the two biggest stars, Neymar and Kylian Mbappé – due to a coronavirus infection, so two 18-year-olds years started the lineup on Thursday night: Arnaud Kalimuendo and Kays Ruiz-Atil.

In the end, PSG attacked more, but failed to break the tying goal. Lens worked hard to achieve a good victory, although only 21.9 percent of the time the players held the ball.
A little statistic: The last time PSG lost their first league game of the season in 2011, they beat Lorient 1-0.
