The Mathias Corvinus Collegium (MCC) will be present in the Carpathian Basin in the 19 county capitals and 16 other cities inhabited by Hungary, preparing for the care of the talents of some ten thousand young people in the future. The 25-year-old college, which is now led by Balázs Orbán, secretary of state in the Prime Minister’s Office, has received full financial support from the government for the coming year. In April, Parliament decided to transfer 10 to 10 percent of the state shares of MOL and Gedeon Richter to MCC, thus significantly recapitalizing Orbán’s talent manager.
MCC received a 10-10 percent participation package from Mol and Richter.
According to the president of the Secretary of State-Board of Trustees, the objective is to create a special institutional system from which the Hungarian political, economic and cultural elite of the coming decades can grow, since this is a matter of national strategy for Hungary, Balázs Orbán said at a press conference this Wednesday morning. where the new outstanding teachers of the school were presented together with the general director Zoltán Szalai.
The MCC, with its significant financial resources, is being rebuilt both inside and out: the socialist-style building complex, which once housed the Balassi Institute and has seen more beautiful days, will soon be demolished to replace it with a new building. ecological. a center must be established. The school offers programs for talented young people from the age of ten, who will have the opportunity to stand out regardless of their family and financial background – Zoltán Szalai, General Director of Mathias Corvinus Collegium, already spoke about this at the press conference. Your university education will also be significantly renewed due to the new situation, the previous specializations will be transformed into Anglo-Saxon schools. The schools and workshops are run by full-time instructors and workshop leaders who will do research in addition to education, in which they also seek to engage their students. This is because the MCC does not want to be a competitor of secondary and higher education institutions, it does not want to carry out mass education, but individual and small group work.
I would educate the patriots but I would not teach an ideology

According to him, a university cannot be compared to a talent development institution that cares for everyone from age ten to retirement. According to him, patriotism is a matter of national strategy, because they do not want to train ideologically in MCC, but they want to cultivate talents that can benefit all Hungarians in the Carpathian basin.
