The 29-year-old midfielder has signed with Everton for two years, according to the English club, and the deal also includes an additional option year. The two clubs did not disclose the player’s purchase price, but according to constant press reports, Everton paid the Madriders around € 25 million.

James Rodríguez, who fell from grace at Real, spoke in just 14 games with the Spanish giant in the 2019-2020 season, who had previously loaned him to Bayern Munich for two seasons between 2017 and 2019.
Everton finished in a disappointing 12th place in the English Premier League last season, 50 points behind former rival Liverpool.
