A 59-year-old woman was killed and three, the pilot and two passengers, were seriously injured Saturday afternoon between Vál and Kajászó after catching fire during takeoff and then crashing into a hot air balloon, writes Tourism Online.

The first Hungarian hot air balloon, Pannonia, took off in the air in the 1970s. This can be considered the starting point of the Hungarian hot air balloon flight. During this time, more than 400 pilots were trained, spending tens of thousands of hours in the air without accidents.

Hungarian hot air balloon pilot training is carried out under the supervision of the Aviation Authority. Cylinders should be inspected annually, if repaired, inspection is required.

Hungarian hot air balloon pilots regularly fly at home and abroad. They have toured the world and participate in hot air balloon competitions, world and European championships in different parts of the world every year.

Peter the Great did not speak about the possible causes of the accident.
