International exercises are held in Hungary between September 7 and October 7 in the area of ​​the Central Training and Shooting Range of the Hungarian Armed Forces.

Higher-than-usual military vehicle traffic is expected in the cities of Pápa, Veszprém, Tata, Székesfehérvár and Szolnok, as well as on the regions’ main roads and highways, the index cites the government announcement.

Increased military vehicle traffic is expected:

  • Between 7 September and 7 October at the Tata-Környe-Gánt-Székesfehérvár-road 8-Veszprém-Újmajor barracks;
  • On September 10, the intersection of the connecting road in front of the Tata barracks and the main road 1 – between the Honvéd utca-Tata train station;
  • September 7th. Between 08:30 and 12:00 on the Szolnok-M4 motorway, M0 motorway, M7 motorway, main road 8, road 77, Újdörögd route.

In a statement, the Ministry of Defense asks all road users to be close to military vehicles and convoys, since their size and speed, as well as the length of the convoys and the way they travel, may differ from those used in daily road traffic.
