Hamilton leads, Ferrari suffers at Monza – F1VILÁG.HU

As in the first training session, in favorable weather conditions, a bright sun and, most importantly, the riders were able to tour the “sanctuary of speed” on dry tracks.

The Mercedes also brought the mandatory in the second training session: led by Lewis Hamilton, they closed the day in the lead, without little advantage! Hamilton became the fastest with a time of 1 minute 20,192 seconds, more than 2 tenths of a second ahead of his teammate, Valtteri Bottas, who also ranks second in the World Cup points race.

AlphaTaurik also provided splendid form in the afternoon training: Pierre Gasly finished the day in fourth place, while his teammate Daniil Kvyat was seventh fastest.

Ferrari, as expected, suffered a lot on the dizzying track of Monza: Leclerc was 1.3 seconds slower than Hamilton, while Sebastian Vettel took a 1.5 second lead in 12th place.
