A father with several children killed his estranged wife Tuesday night in Pácin. According to our information, the death of a man who had an accident in Sárospatak after the crime was caused by slitting his wrists after the murder.

The 54-year-old man from Sárospatak stabbed his wife in Pácin, who died at the scene, several times. The man then got into a car and when he reached Sárospatak he collided with a car on the side of the road. According to our data, the man did not die as a result of the collision, but ended his life on his own.
The spokesman said, adding that police are investigating the circumstances of the family tragedy in the context of criminal proceedings.
