For some laptop models, the latest Windows update may cause a system crash.

A May 10 update for Windows is available for many devices, but the package could lead to unexpected errors, at least according to a Lenovo representative in Canada. According to the manufacturer, those who have updated may have errors, even “blue death,” writes hvg.hu.

Specifically, these are ThinkPad models released in 2019 or 2020 that have virtualization enabled in the Enhanced Windows Biometric Security settings.
