This Dinamo is no longer like last year, but everything speaks for him with Fradi

[ad_1]

In Monday’s draw, it was decided that the Ferencváros football team would once again face Dinamo Zagreb in the third round of the Champions League qualifiers, like a year ago. As in the first two laps, after Djurgården from Sweden and Celtic from Scotland, Fradi received the strongest possible team in the third according to UEFA odds, but Miklós Boros, our Cluj-Napoca correspondent who personally observed Zagreb in the previous lap, agrees. The current Dinamo is no longer the same team that knocked Fradi out of BL 5-1 last year.

Among Croatian teams, Hungarian teams most often faced Dinamo on the international stage: since 1962 they have played a total of 18 matches against the Zagreb. The balance is quite negative, since with 12 defeats and four draws, we only won twice: In 1972, in the KK (Central European Cup), Tatabánya was 1-0, in 1997, in the UEFA Cup, MTK was also 1-0 (but in the rematch, Béla Illés also lost 2-0. so they don’t go any further). However, since then he has faced Hungarian teams 11 times in Dinamo’s betting match, eight of which he has won (along with three iksz). In the past 23 years, he has said goodbye to MTK three times, Fradi, Győr and ZTE once and for all, beating the last two teams back and forth.

MENTAL STRENGTH, SPEED: THIS GAIN IN CLUB

Our colleague from Cluj-Napoca, Miklós Boros, analyzed the Croatian match based on the experience of the CFR – Dinamo Zagreb match (2–2, 5–6 with 11s).

“An individually well-trained team of very fast players in the offensive section was impressed by Dinamo in Cluj-Napoca, who, however, advanced only in a seven-round shootout at the home of the Romanian champion CFR, mainly due to errors from your internal defenders.

The Zagreb players played the CFR midfielder’s defenses mainly with very direct actions based on a single deep pass on the offensive field, then used the speed of Mislav Orsic, Lovro Majer and then Lirim Kastrati, who replaced him, to overcome to the midfielders. Even in reaction time, the Transylvanian footballers were beaten smoothly, both goals were scored by the goalkeeper. Their most valuable outfield player, Croatian national team Bruno Petkovic, was hired only after the first CFR equalizer by coach Zoran Mamic, entrusting a striker who is physically stronger than his other attackers mainly by keeping the balls cut forward.

The defensive line was less steel, especially in the middle. Kévin Théophile-Catherine received a red card already in the second half when he scored a penalty for the CFR, but former Franciscan Emir Dilaver also hung slightly below the Croats. The most confident was Josko Gvardiol, a young man barely 18 years old at a human disadvantage, who also shot the last 11 at the end. Goalkeeper Dominik Livakovic’s performance was controversial – he blocked Ciprian Deac’s lead with a 1-0 lead, but not long after skillfully defending Michael Pereira’s long shot. His nerves, on the other hand, were fine at the end: on the fifth round of the shot, after Amer Gojak went bad, he defended the ball sent by Catalin Golofca to the middle, keeping his team in competition. Mental toughness was characteristic of the whole team, neither the goal scored in the third minute of the show nor the regular playing time caught the Zagreb players.

MIKLÓS BOROS

He played for Ferencváros in Zagreb on August 6 last year in a 1-1 draw in the third round of the BL qualifying, but won 4-0 in relegation from Budapest. Last season Dinamo also reached the BL group, and although they were only fourth in the Latvian group behind Manchester City, Atalanta and Sahtar, they beat Atalanta 4-0 at home and drew twice with Sahtar. Then, in the spring, he won the Croatian championship with a 15-point lead over his partner club, Lokomotiva Zagreb. Third in a row, for the 31st time in total (including Yugoslav league titles).

However, the Dinamo framework has changed a lot in the last year and although Transfermarkt still puts its value at 82.1 million, the filter against Fradi last year Nikola Moro Dinamo signed for Moscow for 8 million euros, beating Spanish striker Fradi in both games Dani Olmo and 21 million for CoR Leipzig, while in the summer the Zagreb players confirmed a new player for just 2 million euros. HE maximum gain not a new composition, but a selection loaned to Lokomotiva and returning in summer Lirim Kastrati jelenheti, who scored 11 goals and seven assists for the other Zagreb team in the previous league season, where he was a teammate of Ferencváros’s summer composition, the Albanian Myrto Uzuni. (Fradi, by the way, also certified a Dynamo player in the summer in the person of 20-year-old Roko Baturina, who was a member of the second box in Zagreb and then loaned to the Slovenian NK Bravo, has not yet appeared in the FTC) .

There was also a change in the Dinamo bench, because the team is no longer led by Nenad Bjelica, but by Zoran Mamic, what is the new season won all three of their league games so far scoring 11 goals and conceding just one – Last time, on Sunday, they beat NK Osij (Osijek) standing with László Kleinheisler 4-1. In the BL qualifier, he played a 2-2 draw in Cluj-Napoca with ten people and then said goodbye to the CFR with 11. Dinamo’s most productive player has scored 21 goals in 42 games in the previous season. Mislav orsic, who is currently a member of the framework. The most valuable is the nine-time national team goalkeeper, 25 years old. Dominik Livakovicot with 12.5 million euros, but the forward charged with 11 million stands out, Bruno Petkovic it is.

The past, the values (Fradi puts a total of 24 million) and the appearance of BL of Dinamo last year also show that the Croatian team has a much higher rating on the international stage and has a much higher chance than Ferencváros, and although Fradi can play at home, the Zagreb team also won 4-0 in Budapest last year. On the other hand, remember: the Celtic that you defeated in the previous round had a slightly larger UEFA team than Dinamo. (34 points, Dynamo 33.5) still managed to be defeated, proving the principle that anything can happen in a match.

If Fradi wins, he will definitely be in a group stage in one of the European Cups and will definitely stand out in the draw for the BL qualifying knockout round. If you don’t make it to the Dynamo, you can still play the group stage of the Europa League.
