Spar’s wave of innovation continues

Approximately 500 million guilders per store was spent on the complete modernization of Spar’s two business units. The façade renovation was accompanied by a complex interior remodel, which included a new SPAR to Go in both stores, as well as self-service cash registers to assist with shopping. They will continue to remodel and develop their stores in the future, and may even have 20-22 franchise stores open next year.

Spar Hungary has now renovated its two stores in Alsópáhok and Őrmező, which was justified by the increase in purchasing power and changing customer expectations. The company promises a broader range of products that also meet special nutritional needs, as well as SPAR in both stores. Ready-to-cook convenience products are also available.

Residents of Alsópáhok, a resort town in Zala County, located near Lake Balaton, and guests resting in the settlement can visit the Spar supermarket store on Hévízi 18 street starting on August 27. Thanks to the investment of more than HUF 452 million, the entrance portal and thus the façade, as well as the more interoperable interior, have been completely renovated.

The Spar supermarket in the residential area of ​​őrmeze was renovated for almost 562 million guilders. The Budapest XI. district, a fully modernized supermarket in Balatoni út was made available to the public on August 27.

Spar Hungary’s 200th franchise store opened in Kunhegyes on Friday. In relation to this, the chain’s communications manager, Márk Maczelka, said that they will continue to expand with their partners next year, opening 20-22 stores of this type.
