Employees can only get a job after two negative tests.

Coronavirus: the second wave

Half a year after the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic in the spring, the second wave of the pandemic has arrived. The radical increase in the number of infected is forcing more and more countries to re-impose restrictions, despite the fact that the world economy has not even recovered from the effects of the spring outbreak. According to the posters, the second wave also reached Hungary. Follow our news!

In recent days, several women in Debrecen have tested positive for coronavirus, the Debreciner. The portal contacted the University of Debrecen Clinical Center (DE KK), which includes the Debrecen Institute for Primary Care and Health Development, which also provides nursing services. The institute confirmed the information in its response.

The university also reported that strict epidemiological measures have been taken and are being followed.

All DE KK employees undergo the mandatory coronavirus test and can only be employed if they have two negative PCR tests.

DE KK did not answer the portal’s question about exactly how many nurses were infected and how many workers were quarantined due to the incident.

The former editorial office of index.hu has essentially ceased to exist, the country has lost its most read online interface. This is one of the most serious blows to the independent Hungarian press and freedom of information to date. The number of independent power editorial boards is steadily declining, and those that still exist are trying to stay afloat in a growing headwind. At HVG, we persevere, not giving in to pressure to bring in national and international news every day.

That is why we ask you, our readers, to support us, support us, join our membership and renew it!

And we promise to keep doing our best for you in all circumstances!
