Michele Melchiorre, plant manager of the BMW Group in Debrecen, held a press conference at the construction site of the BMW plant in Debrecen. BMW recently announced that the Debrecen project was slipping, but later Péter Szijjártó tried to qualify it so that the construction works would still continue.

Now Michele Melchiorre said, “Preparations for the plant’s infrastructure continue as planned.” Melchiorre said they were committed to plans for the Debrecen plant, but that the global economic situation would require a change to the construction schedule, which is still being considered, but said there would be a delay of only a few months.

Péter Szijjártó also spoke at the press conference, referring to the fact that, despite the economic difficulties caused by the epidemic, they insist that people should be helped with jobs, not with help.

records

  • The number of active cases is decreasing, but six have died again.

Live the operational tension. Our most important question is: what does the tribe suggest to lift the restrictions in Budapest?

  • The Hungarian economy grew 2 percent.

The coronavirus impact is already visible, but a real drop is expected in the next quarter. The collapse of tourism, transport and leisure services has slowed the economy. However, we are well above the EU average.

  • The coronavirus sends it to the ground and then shoots inflation into space

First, the prices of many products may stagnate or fall, but the money bomb associated with crisis management will drive prices up over time. And it will not be possible to increase interest rates due to the large amount of debt. Will the record inflation of the 1970s return?
