For days, Epic Games has been rattling gamers by promising that exciting gaming software can hit the mark soon, as well as for free. Not many people expected it to be the Grand Theft Auto V.
Epic Games, also known for its graphics engine called Unreal Engine, this time made the fifth installment in the Grand Theft Auto series, a video game produced on the biggest budget of all time, for free in its usual weekly action. The publisher acted very deceptively: days before they had promised that a more exciting video game would arrive in the free catalog, but exactly which one had just been announced.
The move is also unusual because not even the creator of Rockstar Games did it, although it would hardly be a problem for them: the citizen launch video game released in 2013 still generates a lot of money for the publisher, and it will definitely be like that for a few good years. (With GTA 5, which is getting free, Rockstar is doing well somewhere, of course, as there will be a few downloaders who will test the real money portion of the game online.)
The promotion, like the same Epic discounts, lasts one week until May 21, so that is the time you can download the game, free only for PC. Those who do this, on the other hand, can keep the program forever, which can be purchased in many places for 9-12 thousand forints. To download, you need to navigate to Epic’s dedicated interface, and then add the software to your game library. The game will also require the publisher’s own client, but the registration required for this can be done in a matter of minutes and doesn’t cost money either. It’s true, more and more time: due to the avalanche of users, the Epic page on Thursday night is very slow, and for many it does not load at all.
