At this week’s operating staff press conferences, we heard several times that the government could make a decision on exit restrictions in Budapest at its meeting on Wednesday. Compared to this yesterday, we report that a decision has not yet been made at the government meeting, because the government also wants to listen to the mayors and professionals of the capital.
The epidemiological situation is favorable: it is true that 39 cases have been reported today, which is more than the average for the last few days, but still well below the April average. The epidemic is slowing down in Hungary, and if the trend doesn’t reverse, it’s only a matter of time before relief arrives.
This morning, on the government’s information, we will discover what the government decided yesterday: if it did, and immediately after the government’s information, the National Chief Medical Officer, Cecília Müller, will assess the epidemic situation at the press conference of the operating tribe today. Both events are covered live.
