Coupons shipped in fall 2019 to Retirees can only redeem it at the post office, János Fónagy, secretary of state for parliamentary affairs related to national wealth, said on public television on Wednesday, according to MTI.
The politician said retirees are asked not to redeem the remaining coupons in person if possible, but to send their younger relatives to the post office. If this does not work, it is advisable for retirees to choose the morning hours to redeem vouchers when the post office provides its service offline.
In fall 2019, 2.6 million pensioners received an overdraft voucher of 9,000 HUF.
