L. L. Junior’s former partner was questioned as a suspect in his little boy’s fatal accident last year. The three-year-old boy was forded by a car at the Füredi út intersection on August 29, 2019, and the boy’s injuries were so severe that he died on the spot.

The singer’s younger son and mother wanted to go through a pedestrian crossing separated by an island on the sidewalk and two lights, but often the entire stretch could not go under a green. Pedestrians also had a red light when the boy wanted to run across the road to his brother and was hit by an Opel following him.

The driver told police after the accident that the boy was constantly running and looking in the other direction. And a woman, who was standing on the sidewalk behind the boy and his mother, said in her audition that the boy had wanted to go through the red once before the accident, but then another woman held her, and then the boy’s hand already did not hold.

During the process, the police also investigated the criminal liability of the two adults with the child for the accident. Based on the personal and material evidence obtained in the case, they were interrogated as suspects by the police on May 11, 2020 based on a well-founded suspicion of negligent homicide.

– The BRFK press department responded to the index question and added that the suspects were defending themselves freely.

Police ordered an investigation into an unknown perpetrator on suspicion of a negligent cause of a traffic accident, in which experts were assigned, it was written.

The driver is not suspicious.

The car was driven by a 76-year-old man with his wife sitting next to him. In Füredi út they headed towards Rákosi út, but at the intersection before the zebra they turned exactly red. When the light turned green again, the driver started at a normal rate and, according to technical experts,

“Accelerated to a maximum speed of 41 to 42 km / h at the time of impact”,

Adam Janklovics, the driver’s advocate, told the Index earlier. The lawyer has now said that his client has been questioned by the police once, including as a witness, and no crime has yet been suspected.

Probably not because the man’s testimony coincides with expert opinion. The expert also calculated that, with intense braking, the driver would not have waded the child in a hurry if he traveled at a speed of only 34-35 km / h, and with the so-called deceleration braking, even less,

YOU COULD AVOID A COLLISION AT 31-32 KM / HOUR.

However, according to the expert, it is also clear that “no delay in detection and action can be detected at the expense of the driver if the pedestrian is in front of the fast-moving accelerator car.”

After the accident, the driver of the car wrote a letter of condolences to the family and also wrote that, as a father and grandfather, he would probably never prosecute the fatal accident, but at the same time he did not acknowledge his responsibility.
