The re-planning program related to the economic protection action plan was launched on May 8 to receive free online IT education on May 11, László György, Secretary of State for Economic Strategy and Regulation at the Ministry of Innovation and Technology (ITM) announced Monday at an online press conference.

Anyone who has turned 18 and has their own computer and internet access can apply for adult education until 12 noon on May 22. English proficiency is recommended, but not an expectation.

The free 8-week IT foundation training is recommended for those who have lost their jobs due to a virus epidemic, have freed up their time, or are considering a career in IT. In training, they strive to transfer and strengthen useful knowledge in everyday life from scratch, reported the ITM Secretary of State.

László György said that in the early days of the training, participants can gain basic IT knowledge related to cloud-based work, the secure Internet, the Windows operating system and basic networking. At the end of the training, the participants will acquire theoretical and practical knowledge on the use of the Windows operating system,

Learn about the various methodological elements of development, design, implementation, testing.

The course concludes with a final exam, the successful completion of which also provides the opportunity to continue your studies in one of the IT courses available in the program with 100 percent state support. Structural change training, based on 8 weeks of foundation training, is expected to begin in August, said the ITM Secretary of State.
