The outside lead stylist pockets a net HUF of 3.74 million per month from MTVA.

The Support Fund for Media Services and Asset Management (MTVA, i.e. public media) has concluded a framework contract worth HUF 350 million for one year for the use of makeup, hairstyling and hairdressing services, according to an announcement published in the EU public procurement notice.

Public procurement was a negotiated procedure with an open call, that is, in the first round, bidders were free to apply, and in the second round, MTVA only negotiated with those selected. There wasn’t a huge competition, because even on the public stage only one company applied for, the Make-Up Team Kft. In Budapest, which has been doing this for MTVA for years.

The framework contract means that MTVA can request services from the company in the maximum amount, the rates according to the concluded contract are as follows (net amounts):

  • Senior Stylist Consulting Fee: HUF 3.74 million per month,
  • Stylist Consulting Fee: 5,500 HUF per hour,
  • Clothing fee: 2,200 HUF per hour,
  • Daily barber service fee: 2585 HUF per hour,
  • Occasional hair salon fee: 15,950 HUF per hour,
  • Makeup artist rate: 2915 HUF per hour.

In 2020, public media can already manage more than HUF 92 billion.
