Prime Minister Viktor Orbán thanked the ambulance service employees on the occasion of the ambulance day in a video posted on his Facebook page on Sunday, the state news agency reported.

The Prime Minister visited the Józsefváros ambulance station.

It is wonderful that a country of 10 million can operate 30,000 beds and 8,000 fans, so that there is a doctor, a nurse and an ambulance everywhere, says Viktor Orbán.

The rescue workers were told not only the government, but they were all grateful for their correction that they had “turned themselves in.”

In the video, Pál Győrfi, spokesman for the National Ambulance Service, said it has been an ambulance for 37 years, which he believes is one of the most beautiful professions in the world. According to MTI, it is good to see that the ambulance profession is increasingly fashionable in the eyes of young people.

May 10 is the day of the ambulance in Hungary in memory of the fact that the Budapest Voluntary Ambulance Association was founded in 1887.
