In terms of epidemiological risks, the northeast city of Sulan received the highest risk rating on a three-point scale, local authorities said. This could indicate another wave of the coronavirus epidemic in northeast China.
A day earlier, the level of risk increased from low to medium, but now from medium to high by local officials. The antecedent is that on May 7, a woman’s body was detected in the body and then, in 11 days, 11 more cases were registered in Sulan. Each of the infected is a family member or a person who has come into contact with the woman.
The Chilean provincial government has announced to step up epidemiological precautions, impose curfews on residential areas, close non-vital public transportation, and close schools again.
Another infected city was also identified in Wuhan, central China, which was the original starting point of the epidemic, although there was no example of this for more than a month. On Thursday, China officially declared the entire country low risk.
