The Fidesz center is protesting why they could move to City Hall during the emergency, those homeless people who agree not to leave the building during the epidemic.

In a petition, the Fidesz center organization protests against the creation of a planned homeless hotel for the City Council, the Hungarian nation wrote.

Mayor Gergely Karácsony has decided that homeless people can move to the City Hall of the capital and promise not to leave the building for the duration of the coronavirus epidemic. Budapest’s pre-epidemic social institutional system was not able to provide enough distance between them to control infection, and although the capital has already created more than 500 new locations, additional reception locations are needed, he wrote in the memorandum explaining the decision.

“At the time, Christmas promised to initiate stakeholder consultations on all important issues, but did not consult with residents or district representatives about his plans that also affected them. It seems that the solidarity so mentioned does not apply to us, ”says the statement from the Fidesz center.

The Hungarian nation also mentioned the conspiracy theory, although this has not been confirmed, that the homeless would be relocated to the capital, where few votes are missing for the opposition to win.
