A bicycle lane will be established in XI. The new 1.7-kilometer section will be directly connected to Bartók Béla út’s bicycle lanes in Villányi út, the Budapest Transport Center told MTI on Sunday.

According to BKK, the Metropolitan Municipality will continuously monitor the use of the new lanes and decide on their final design at the end of the summer at the same time as the other sections.

At the end of March, the Metropolitan Municipality decided to create temporary bicycle lanes to stop the spread of the coronavirus epidemic.
